Selection Criteria

The Child Support Fund Program is Aredoc’s main fundraising program today. The organization has partnered with major donors Global Humanitaria to find sponsors to help children in need in Cambodia. Aredoc is one of Global Humanitaria’s partners, serving as the local executive office working in the region and managing children in programs with the community. Global Humanitaria is a donor and partner program manager.

Each partner’s priority serves as a program support office designed to connect children and sponsors. In 2021, the organization implemented this program in 10 primary schools in Traing district, Takeo province. The activities of this program include recruiting children, drawing programs, updating children’s education data, bringing gifts from sponsors to children, correspondence. Children in the participating bases were subject to selection criteria.

Achieved results

As a result, this year, Aredoc received 550 more children to participate in the program, in addition to the existing number of 1950 beneficiaries, after some of the beneficiaries in the existing program have completed the primary school year 2020-2021. Continue to secondary school next school year. There are 10 priority schools that have been recruited for the new program: Krang Chheang Neang Ang Speu Primary School, Preah Theat Prey Phav, Prey Pher, Trapeang Thom, Srey Sithy, Samor, Donper, which is a school that has provided good cooperation and participation

Actively work together to implement joint programs that include schools, principals, teachers and the community.
1,120 children participated in painting their drawing to send to their sponsors for Christmas.
Delivered gifts from sponsors to eight children, who were directly requested based on the actual needs of the children and families according to the amount of funds provided by their sponsors. These include bicycles, fans, study materials, water tanks, gas cookers, groceries (noodles, milk, canned fish, rice, cooking oil, beverages), soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, balls, electric cookers, etc.
